Prior to establishing YES BANK, Mr. Kapoor was CEO & Managing Director, and main Managing Partner of Rabo India Finance (RIF) Pvt. Ltd., responsible for all its business activities (a corporate finance and investment banking organisation). He successfully spearheaded RIF as a foreign joint venture financial services organization in partnership with Rabobank (AAA rated) in India, and thereafter sold his shareholdings to Rabobank, Netherlands, in early 2003, after assiduously building RIF as a Professional Entrepreneur (1998-2003).
Prior to starting Rabo India, he was the General Manager & Country Head: ANZ Grindlays' Investment Bank (ANZIB, from 1996-98). Mr. Kapoor spent 15 years at Bank of America (1980-1995), where he last headed the Bank's Wholesale Banking businesses and held several positions of increasing responsibility, including assignments in Asian countries. He was presented the Eagle Pin by the Chairman of Bank of America, in 1990, the highest professional recognition for consistent performance excellence in Bank of America, amongst several other enterprising achievements.
Mr. Kapoor has recently become a Member of the Government of India's Board of Trade. This apex body consisting of top leadership from the Indian Industry is nominated by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. He has also been appointed as the Honorary Secretary of the Indian Banks' Association (IBA), and the Committee on Agro Business and Financial Inclusion, IBA, a Member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), established by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of "Invest India", Member of the Sub-Group of the Taskforce on Funding for Infrastructure Creation, as part of the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the President of the India-EU Chamber of Commerce in India, and the FICCI and CII Steering Committees, and Managing Committee of PHDCCI. He was the Chairman of CII's Banking Committee for the year 2005-06. Mr. Kapoor was appointed in 2002 as the Honorary Consul for Cyprus in Mumbai/ Maharashtra state by the Government of Cyprus. He is also an active member of Young President's Organisation (YPO), a leading global forum of business leaders. Mr. Kapoor holds a MBA degree from Rutgers' University in New Jersey, U.S.A. (1980), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Honours) from the University of Delhi (1977).

| President- Government Relationship Management
Deepak Kr. Gaddhyan is the President- Government Relationship Management based at the YES BANK Northern Regional Office at New Delhi. He is spearheading the Government Relationship Management group in the bank with responsibilities which involves planning, directing and managing the Government owned Central & State relationship based banking activities. He is responsible for coordination with Financial Markets, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking, Business Banking and Retail Banking teams at YES BANK to ensure synergies in cross selling products to Central & State governments and their entities including PSUs. In addition, he has the responsibility of working closely with the Development and Knowledge Banking team which is a key differentiator at YES BANK.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Deepak was working as Sr. Corporate Relationship Manager with ICICI Bank UK Limited, a subsidiary of ICICI Bank, India in London. At ICICI Bank UK he played a lead role in setting up the Corporate Banking desk and harnessing the Indian corporate relationships of ICICI group in London. He joined ICICI Securities Ltd. (i-SEC) from campus in 1995 and was Eastern India Regional Head for Corporate Banking in ICICI Bank before he moved to London. Deepak spent more than a decade in ICICI group and held several positions of increasing responsibility in his career at ICICI group including assignment in London.
Deepak is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant and holds an MBA Degree in Finance from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

President - Commercial Banking
Sumit Gupta is the President- Emerging Commercial Banking (ECB) at YES BANK. ECB is one of the chief value drivers of YES BANK, focussed at catering to the Banking needs of EMERGING INDIA.
As a part of the initial start up team, Sumit was instrumental in establishing YES BANK’s presence in this segment. He is also responsible for developing YES BANK’s Knowledge Management practise for some of the key ECB sectors like Gems & Jewellery, Textiles, Auto-components, Media and Entertainment and Logistics. Sumit is part of the Executive Management Team at YES BANK.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Sumit was an Associate Director with Rabo India (100% subsidiary of Rabobank International, Netherlands, a AAA rated financial institution). He has over 12 years of experience in various capacities in leading organizations like Standard Chartered Bank, CRISIL (a subsidiary of Standard & Poors’, USA) and Maruti Udyog Limited (Subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Company, Japan).
Sumit holds an MBA Degree in Finance from IIM Calcutta and is a B.Tech (Mechanical) from IIT Delhi. |

President - Retail Banking
Rajnish Datta is the President - Retail Banking at YES BANK. He is responsible for growing the Bank's customer base with an elaborate product offering of Secured & Unsecured Working Capital Business Loans including 'Loan Against Property' and 'Loan Against Securities' for MSME clients and individuals. He and his team are instrumental in launching Education Loans & Housing Loans for the Bank's NRI and YES FIRST customers.
Rajnish has an exemplary experience of over a decade in diverse roles across organizations in the areas of Retail Lending & Securitisation. Prior to joining YES BANK, Rajnish was the Executive Director with American Express Services India (AMEX).
At AMEX, Rajnish was responsible for managing distribution for various products and interacting with the Personal and Small Business Lending teams to maximize synergies. Rajnish was also awarded the Ambassadors Club Award, a global award recognizing leadership of an exceptional order at AMEX.
Prior to AMEX, Rajnish was the Chief Manager Retail at Birla Global Finance Ltd., managing the Retail Assets business for the Northern Region.
Rajnish is a qualified Engineer from MIT, Manipal, and has an MBA degree from IMT, Ghaziabad. |

President - Business Banking
Sanjay Agrawal is the President - Business Banking at YES BANK. He is responsible for building SME segments (Business Banking). He focuses on a two-pronged approach towards building this business; i.e., cross-sell asset products into YES BANK's existing customer base and acquire new clients. He also strives to leverage relationship strengths to actively support Liability mobilization and cross-sell of wealth management insurance products & services.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Sanjay was the Head of Risk for SME at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). At SCB he was instrumental in setting and scaling up SME business to multi locations and a multi product INR 15000 MM business. In this assignment, he has also launched "Business Instalment Loan (BIL)" which is one of the most successful asset products under Retail banking.
Prior to joining SCB, Sanjay has worked with some of the leading banks in India and has over 14 years of experience in various capacities ranging from Team Leader - Corporate Banking to Regional Credit Head. He has worked both in Indian and foreign banks.
Sanjay is from Rajasthan and married with 2 sons. Sanjay's favourite leisure time activities are reading novels, listening to music, watching news on TV and spending time with the family.
Sanjay is a Chartered Accountant (Rank holder) as well as a Cost Accountant.

| Aalok Gupta |
EVP & Country Head- Credit Risk, Small Business Banking & Operations Risk Management
Aalok Gupta is the EVP & Country Head- Credit Risk, Small Business Banking & Operations Risk Management at YES BANK. He is spearheading the Risk function for our Retail Assets initiative. In addition, he is also responsible for two other business groups - Retail Liabilities and Business Banking Liabilities.
In this role, Aalok has been instrumental in design, development and rollout of multiple product programs. These include Personal Loan, Loan against Property, Working Capital facilities for SMEs (small & medium enterprises), lending to the MFI (Micro Finance Institution) sector, Temporary Credit facilities for Deposit Customers, Foreign Exchange contracts for small businesses etc.
Prior to joining YES BANK, he was Vice President (Debt Management) for HSBC. In this role, he was responsible for controlling delinquencies across the Personal Financial and Credit Card businesses. A two site predictive dialer for outbound telecalling was also implemented under his leadership.
Prior to joining HSBC, he was with HDFC Bank managing the LAS (loan against securities) portfolio. Under his leadership, this product added variants and expanded geographically to rapidly build a retail franchise. Previously, Aalok had spent 10 years with Bank of America in various capacities across geographical markets in India.

| Sandeep Sarkar |
Managing Director - Financial Market, Sales
Sandeep Sarkar is the Managing Director- Financial Market, Sales at YES BANK. He is responsible for building the sales team and developing and marketing the entire range of Financial Market products including foreign exchange and interest rate options and derivatives.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Sandeep was the Vice President - Debt Capital Raising with Bank of America. He was responsible for providing debt capital market solutions for the Bank’s Institutional and Corporate clientele in India. His core activities involved origination, structuring, execution, liaising with Legal Councils and Rating Agencies and syndicating facilities to offshore banks and financial institutions.
In his past assignments with Bank of America, Sandeep was instrumental in setting up and building the derivative marketing and sales platform to institutional clients. He was also responsible for selling foreign exchange and FX options and providing solution-based advisory services to corporates and PSUs particularly in North India.
He has earlier also worked with ANZ Grindlays in the Corporate FX Sales team and with HSBC where he covered various areas of Treasury Operations and Treasury Mid-Office.
A keen golfer and a qualified Chartered Accountant, Sandeep has excellent hands-on experience of working in Capital Markets, Institutional and Corporate Sales as well as Treasury Finance Functions. |

President & Global Head -International Banking
Arun Agrawal is the President & Global Head: International Banking at YES Bank. Arun leads the International Banking group at YES Bank developing business and managing relationships with a variety of global financial institutions and financial intermediaries like banks, multilateral/bilateral agencies, financial institutions, exchange houses, merchant banks and financial sponsors while constantly ideating opportunities for expanding YES Bank’s profile, coverage and widening relationships across products groups like Financial Markets, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Business Advisory Services and Retail Products including Global Indian Banking. Focus of the team is on building strategic relationships in important geographies across the globe, in close coordination with the various product/business/service groups to ensure quality service delivery.
Arun joined YES BANK in 2005 as the Country Head - Financial Institutions & International Banking, where his responsibility entailed leading the Financial Institutions Relationship Management function.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Arun was heading ICRA’s Western Region operations, as General Manager and Regional Head. As a key member of ICRA’s core management team, Arun was responsible for profitability, business development and growth of ICRA in Mumbai. Arun has extensive experience of over 13 years in the area of Business Development, Credit Ratings and Market Analytics at ICRA (the Indian associate of Moody’s Investor Service). Prior to ICRA, he was heading the Gujarat Sales, Data Products Division at Larsen & Toubro where he was instrumental in setting up an independent, profit making marketing branch for the division in Gujarat.
Arun is a B.E. (Electronics & Communications) and a batch topper in Masters in Management Studies from S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. He has been part of the Advanced Management Programme with a specialization in “Managing Growth in the Financial Services Business” from the Manchester Business School, UK/Administrative Staff College of India. |

EVP & Country Head- Indian Financial Institutions
Surendra Jalan is the EVP & Country Head- Indian Financial Institutions (FI) at YES BANK. He will be responsible for managing the Financial Institutions Relationship Management which focuses on creating and maintaining relationships with all financial sector participants including banks, FIs, Mutual Funds & Insurance firms.
Surendra joined YES BANK in 2005, as Executive Vice President with the domestic FI team, and over the last two years, has developed strong relationships with the financial market. He has in the past developed strong relationships all PSU banks, Private Sector Banks, Mutual Funds, Insurance companies and NBFCs, resulting in sharply increased funding resources and counterparty lines for Treasury and Trade Businesses. He has been instrumental in setting up the Capital Markets/ Commodity Brokers business in the bank and has also contributed immensely to the capital base of YBL through successful rounds of Lower and Upper Tier II placements.
Prior to YES BANK, Surendra was heading the Rural Financial Institutions Group (RFIG) and the dairy business, which was a part of the Rural Micro and Agri Business Group (RMAG), at ICICI Bank. He was actively involved in the launch of the cattle financing product in partnership with other dairies. He was also responsible for raising more than INR 330 bn of resources and securitizing more than INR 100 bn of assets within a year while at ICICI Ltd., in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Prior to this, he was with ICICI-Securities, where he provided a gamut of investment banking services such as Project Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Market services and M&A and Advisory services.

| Senior Managing Director - Investment Banking
Aditya Sanghi is the Senior Managing Director- Investment Banking at YES BANK. Aditya is responsible for managing a full service Investment Bank offering a wide range of products in M&A, Private Equity Syndication, Equity Capital Markets, Research and Brokerage.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Aditya was Executive Director with Rabo India Finance where his responsibilities included M&A and Private Equity Syndication. He has to his credit some of the large and prominent transactions in India such as the Acquisition of Tetley Group by Tata Tea, the largest private sector cross-border acquisition and the largest LBO by an Indian corporate.
Some of the other landmark deals completed by him include, divestment of Pioneer ITI AMC to Franklin Templeton, divestment of the Madhya Pradesh Cellular Circle by Vodafone and RPG Group to Idea Cellular, Purchase of Empee Breweries by United Breweries, acquisition of Protinex Trademark from Pfizer by EAC Nutrition and acquisition of state owned Godavari Fertilizers by Coromandel Fertilizers. Among his recent private equity transactions are, placement of Suzlon Energy equity with CVC Intl. and of Café Coffee Day with AIG.
Prior to joining Rabo India, Aditya worked with KPMG Corporate Finance and Lazard India.

Vikas Dawra is Managing Director- Investment Banking at YES BANK. He has over 11 years of experience in the Investment Banking industry across a range of industries and geographies.
At YES Bank, Vikas has led cross-border M&A, private equity placements, IPO and FCCB issues. His team focuses on life sciences, natural resources, metals, FMCG and food & agri among other industries. Besides India, he has led successful transactions in US, Netherlands, France, Israel, Greece and Africa.
Prior to joining YES BANK, he was Associate Director, M&A at Rabo India Finance, Mumbai. Vikas also spent 5 years with Arthur Andersen both in Delhi and Mumbai, where he worked in the M&A division and focused on the life sciences and telecommunications sector.

Somak Ghosh is the Group President, Corporate Finance and Development Banking at YES BANK. As the head of Corporate Finance, Somak oversees the operations of the Infrastructure, Structured & Project Finance, Financial Restructurings; Private Equity; Syndications and Realty Banking. Somak also leads the Development Banking Group which comprises Agriculture, Rural & Social Banking; Responsible Banking; Food & Agri Strategic Advisory and Research; Micro-Finance; Strategic Initiatives - Advisory Government and Sustainable Investment Banking. Somak is part of the Executive Management Team at YES BANK, a member of the Bank’s ALCO (Asset Liability Committee) and the Management Credit Committee.
Somak is also at the forefront of the Bank’s Private Equity initiative having launched a Clean Technology Fund and a number of Funds in the pipeline focussing on Food & Agri Business, Infrastructure and Social Sectors that leverage one of the Bank’s principle tenets of Knowledge Banking.
Somak’s deep interest in the area of sustainability has led to the rapid growth of the Bank’s Responsible Banking initiative, which focuses on mainstreaming commercial and investment banking solutions to environmental and social issues. Sanjay Palve is the Managing Director: Infrastructure Banking Group at YES BANK. Currently, his responsibilities include leading YES Bank’s financing/advisory initiatives in Infrastructure sector viz.; power, telecom, transportation and other core sectors such as mining, metals and manufacturing.
He has significant experience in deal origination, structuring and due diligence, syndication and financing documentation. He has extensive experience dealing with international sponsors, wide range of lenders’ consultants, foreign lenders and governments. He has expertise in managing and leading complex project financing transactions and brings strategic inputs to facilitate the entire process leading upto timely financial closure.

Prior to joining YES BANK, he worked in the relationship function of DBS Bank at their Mumbai office - he managed some of the top end relationships in the Western region as also handled and developed corporate banking franchise in the Delhi region before Delhi branch was set up. This had followed a stint at SBI Capital Markets where Samir worked on a number of infrastructure / project finance, corporate finance, and restructuring assignment. At SBICAP, Samir also initiated the State Bank of India group into securitization (ABS and MBS) business.
Samir has also worked with Standard Chartered Bank, ICICI Ltd., and IL&FS Ltd.

Varun Tuli is the Group President, Branch Banking at YES BANK. He is responsible for planning Business and managing the Business Banking (Small and Medium Enterprises, and Business Liabilities) activities of the Bank. He is also responsible for product development, building Human Capital capabilities, effective delivery of services, and setting the service levels required for the Business Banking function.
Varun has over 20 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking with international Banks and Financial Organisations across different geographical locations particularly India, Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to joining YES BANK, Varun was the Executive Director and Country Head at Avigo Capital Partners, a Private Equity firm where he managed the end to end execution process for The Avigo SME Fund.
Prior to joining Avigo, Varun was the Executive Director at Strategic Capital Corporation, a boutique investment bank in India. He was the Original Promoter Director and during his entrepreneurial tenure with the organization, Varun was instrumental in building several businesses and key relationships across the country.
Previously, he was the Vice-President at Lehman Brothers Asia in Singapore and Vice-President and Regional Business Manager at Bank of America. At Bank of America, along with the Corporate Banking function, he was also leading the Global NRI business for the bank which had offices in the Far East, Europe, the U.S. and India. Varun set up a first of its kind USD 150 million fund which primarily consisted of investments by Non-Resident Indians, while at Lehman Brothers. He held positions of increasing responsibility in Bank of America between 1989 and 1995, and was awarded The Chairman’s Eagle Pin award, the highest recognition in Bank of America, for successfully penetrating into the largest and most profitable relationship in India. Varun has also worked with American Express Bank in India, prior to his Bank of America assignment.

Suresh Sethi is the Group President- Transaction Banking at YES BANK. He is responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy for Cash Management Services, Capital Market Services, Trade Finance, Commodities and ‘Food & Agri’ businesses.
Suresh is also a part of the Executive Management Team at YES BANK and a member of the Bank’s ALCO (Asset Liability Committee).
Suresh joined YES BANK from Citibank N.A., where he spent over 14 years - including 7 years in various senior management positions across Africa, Europe and the US. For the last 3 years of his Citibank assignment, he was based at Citibank Miami - firstly as the Global Transaction Services Head for the Caribbean and Central America Division covering 12 countries and later managing the Cash Management business for the entire Latin America region covering 22 countries. He brings with him extensive experience across the gamut of Transaction Banking streams viz. Cash Management, Trade Services and Custodial Services.
Prior to that, Suresh was instrumental in driving the Corporate Direct Banking strategy of Citibank N.A. for the Central & Eastern European, Middle East and South Asia region covering 33 countries from London, U.K

Rajat Monga is the Group President- Financial Markets & Chief Financial Officer at YES BANK. He is spearheading the Financial Markets, Financial Institutions Relationship Management and Investment Management practices in the Bank. He is responsible for building and developing the Financial Markets function in YES BANK focusing on trading and client distribution of FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Structured Products in addition to balance sheet management.
Rajat is also responsible for institutionalizing best practices in all aspects of financial accounting, taxation, technology based Management Information Systems and expense management. His role also includes ensuring the integrity of all aspects of Financial Management in fullest compliance with the Bank’s accounting standards and Corporate Governance policies.
Rajat brings with him considerable and highly valuable experience in the areas of Balance Sheet Management, Treasury Management, Financial Markets and Product Development.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Rajat was working with Rabo India Finance as the Head, Financial Markets, India. He has also worked with the Unit Trust of India as a part of the Market Operations Department where he co-managed four equity mutual fund schemes, along with undertaking secondary market debt operations for all debt mutual fund schemes.
Rajat is an engineer from IIT Delhi and holds a postgraduate diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad.

GEVP & General Counsel
Nilanjan Sinha is the GEVP & General Counsel at YES BANK. He is the general counsel for YES BANK and is primarily responsible for legal advice and guidance to management and business groups and the overall control and direction of the Chief Risk Officer. His role also includes supervising the preparation of defense in litigation and working with external counsel in developing defense. He is responsible for setting-up legal policies, guidelines, practices and procedures that meet the requirements of all governing regulatory bodies.
Nilanjan spent 5 years as ‘In-house counsel’ of ICICI Bank before studying for his Masters Degree. As the Chief Manager at ICICI Bank, he lead a team of lawyers providing strategic solutions and advice to various business groups handling Project Finance, Restructuring, Trade Finance, Cash Management and General Corporate Banking. He has also supervised the Intellectual Property portfolio for the entire ICICI group. Additionally, Nilanjan was actively associated with the Corporate Debt Restructuring Forum and involved with various recovery as well strategic litigations of the Bank. He has also provided legal and compliance support to group companies like ICICI Lombard General Insurance, ICICI Webtrade and BillJunction.
Prior to joining ICICI Bank, Nilanjan worked with Exide Industries, Kolkata in the Corporate Legal and Secretarial function. In 2006, he did his summer placement with Linklaters, Singapore in the Banking group. He was also nominated by ICICI Bank as the Nominee Director in the Board of various companies.
Nilanjan is a Member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and also an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ACS. In 2004 he attended the 14th Summer School on International Financial Laws conducted by Euromoney at Oxford, UK.

Devamalya Dey is the President- Audit & Compliance at YES BANK. He is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the auditing activities in all the functions of the Bank to ensure fullest compliance with regulatory norms and policy requirements. Dr. Shubhada Rao is the Executive Vice President & Chief Economist at YES BANK. She is also responsible for providing interest rate/exchange rate & other inputs to the Asset and Liabilities Committee on an ongoing basis.
Shubhada brings with her over 16 years of experience in academia and industry wherein she has pioneered research design geared to assist corporate investment decisions, economy forecasts, comprising growth and inflation projections, as well as interest and exchange rate forecasts, to enable formulation of business strategies.

Tushar Pandey is the EVP & Country Head- Strategic Initiatives & Advisory- Government (SIG) at YES BANK. He specializes in Public Private Partnerships in Infrastructure, Agribusiness, Agri-infrastructure, Infrastructure Privatization, and Project Finance (project structuring, risk analysis and non recourse financing), with focus on developing State Government Relationships.
Tushar has extensive and in-depth domain knowledge of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) project development as applied to several sectors like Infrastructure, Agribusiness, e-Governance, and Biotechnology, among others.
He has lead some pioneering initiatives in YES BANK including setting up of Hi-Tech Agribusiness Farm on PPP in Uttarakhand, Gujarat and West Bengal, Agri Tourism projects in Gujarat and West Bengal, developing the framework for selection of private enterprises to set up Modern Terminal Market Complexes in the country for the Union Ministry of Agriculture and e-Governance efforts in states.
